Master Jianye Jiang Biography

When I was six years old I began studying Wushu , following Mingwei Yu, Hai Yu, Ruizhang Zhao and Yongxiang Zhou who are well known teachers and coaches in Shangdong province of China.

I have received my Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Shangdong Teachers University and my Master's degree in Physical Education from the Shanghai Physical Education Institute.

I have been a Wushu coach and national and international judge since 1976. For more than thirty years I have been teaching Wushu, traditional and contemporary, internal and external including all kinds of weapons. I have demonstrated T'ai Chi Ch'uan and Kung Fu in motion pictures in China, Australia and Japan and am an award winning chinese calligrapher of international status.

At present I direct and teach at two schools I have opened in Albany and Schenectady, New York known as The Capital District Tai Chi and Kung Fu Association.
